RULES OF THE RADIO SKONTO KEYWORD GAME “MANS MĪĻĀKAIS RADIO IR RADIO SKONTO”

1.The organizer of the RADIO SKONTO keyword game “Mans mīļākais radio ir RADIO SKONTO” (hereinafter referred to as the “Game”) is SIA “RADIO SKONTO LV”, hereinafter referred to as RADIO SKONTO, registration No. 44103054510, address: Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela 100, Riga, which has developed these rules, hereinafter referred to as the “Rules”.

2. The Game takes place throughout the territory of Latvia and in those locations around the world where RADIO SKONTO is listened to via its live internet broadcast.

3. The Game starts on 14 October 2026 and ends on 6 November 2026, when the Game finalists are determined.

4. There may be five winners in the Game. All of them are determined by RADIO SKONTO radio hosts making calls to randomly selected telephone numbers (hereinafter referred to as the “On-Air Game”). Four of the five winners receive a cash prize, hereinafter referred to as the “Cash Prize”, in the amount of EUR 400.00 (four hundred euros and 00 cents), while one winner receives the main prize, a new car. The main prize of the Game, the winner of which is determined in accordance with these Rules, is one new Hyundai INSTER, colour – Sienna Orange Metallic (SRM) (orange), from Skandi Motors, hereinafter referred to as the “Main Prize”, which RADIO SKONTO awards to the winner of the Main Prize. The Game prize pool contains only one Main Prize.

5.Determination of the Game finalists:
5.1. Five finalists of the On-Air Game are determined by RADIO SKONTO radio hosts making calls to randomly selected telephone numbers:

5.1.1. From 14 October 2026 until and including 6 November 2026, RADIO SKONTO and its radio host(s) make calls from the RADIO SKONTO broadcast studio to randomly selected existing landline and mobile telephone numbers in the Republic of Latvia, at different times and from different telephone numbers. Calls that are answered are broadcast on air and, where possible, other calls made are also broadcast. Telephone numbers are selected using Microsoft Excel and its programming functions, namely the random number generation commands “RANDOMIZE/RND”, thereby obtaining randomly selected telephone numbers. RADIO SKONTO calls each telephone number only once during the Game. RADIO SKONTO shall not be responsible for any problems related to telecommunications services or communication facilities (telephone lines) when making the calls referred to in this clause.

5.1.2. The person/persons who complies/comply with these Rules and who, when called by the RADIO SKONTO radio host(s) in accordance with Clause 5.1.1 of the Rules, clearly and immediately, without hesitation, answers the call with the following phrase, in its exact sequence: “Mans mīļākais radio ir RADIO SKONTO!” or “Mans mīļākais radio RADIO SKONTO!” shall be the winner of the On-Air Game.

5.1.3. RADIO SKONTO may consider the phrase spoken by an On-Air Game participant to be incorrect if it discredits the RADIO SKONTO brand.

6. Any person may participate in the Game, win the Game, participate in the Game final and receive the Cash Prizes and Main Prize, except for the persons and circumstances specified in these Rules. Participation in the Game final and winning the Game is permitted to a person, not a telephone number. One person may occupy only one place in the Game final. Any person registered in the Republic of Latvia may win the Game and receive the Main Prize. RADIO SKONTO employees, holders of broadcasting permits (licence holders), employees of SIA “Skandi Motors”, owners and employees of companies associated with the Game, as well as the family members of all persons referred to in this clause (spouse, children, parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents and grandchildren) may not participate in the Game or receive prizes.
Only one employee (the first to win the Game in accordance with Clause 5.1.2 of the Rules) from a company providing telecommunications services (or a person/company associated with such company) that uses such number forwarding and/or reception services for incoming calls to numbers that do not have a specific subscriber (recipient) may win and receive a prize/prizes in the Game. Thereafter, the telephone numbers assigned to such company shall be excluded from the list of generated numbers.

The prize recipient, by signing an acknowledgement of receipt of any prize, guarantees that this prohibition does not apply to them. Otherwise, any prize may be requested to be returned to RADIO SKONTO, and in such case the prize recipient shall immediately take all necessary actions to return the prize to the ownership of RADIO SKONTO, including carrying out any necessary re-registration procedures in the case of the Main Prize, with all related costs being covered from their own financial resources.

7. Only persons who have read and agree to the Game Rules, as well as agree to RADIO SKONTO’s privacy policy, the processing of personal data and RADIO SKONTO’s general rules for competitions, promotions and/or games available at www.radioskonto.lv, insofar as they do not conflict with the Game Rules, may participate in the Game. The Game Rules shall prevail.
The Game winner(s) must personally arrive in Riga on 7 November 2026 at the address and time specified by RADIO SKONTO, which will be communicated to the winners by 7 November, to participate in the Game final, hereinafter referred to as the “Final”, bringing an identification document of the Game winner (passport or ID card). The Cash Prizes are awarded simultaneously with the determination of the winner of the Main Prize.

8. A Game winner who is unable to personally attend the Final automatically receives the Cash Prize but forfeits their place in the Game final.

Photography and filming may take place during the Final. By attending the Final, participants agree that they may be photographed and filmed and that their images may be used for publication in the media, social networks and other marketing communication channels without any additional financial or other compensation. The venue and time of the event may be changed.

At the Final, the Main Prize is determined by the Game winners, one at a time in the order of their winning dates, drawing from a pre-prepared container containing a number of externally identical car keys and/or key boxes corresponding exactly to the number of winners. Only one of these keys corresponds to and is suitable for activating the Main Prize. Each winner draws one key and checks whether it activates the Main Prize. If the key drawn activates the Main Prize, the respective Game winner receives the Main Prize. If the key does not activate the Main Prize, the respective Game winner receives the Cash Prize. After the Main Prize has been awarded, the remaining Game winners receive only the Cash Prizes.

If there is only one winner in the Game and the duration of the Game is not extended, the sole Game winner automatically acquires the right to receive the Main Prize.

Game prizes are awarded only if the first name, surname and personal identification number stated in the identification document correspond to the details provided by the On-Air Game winner to the RADIO SKONTO radio host at the moment of winning the Game. The Main Prize is awarded after the relevant gift agreement has been signed and in accordance with the terms of that agreement.

9. If a Game winner does not comply with the Game Rules and/or is unable to fulfil them or fails to fulfil them, and/or has not arrived at the Final specified in Clause 8 of these Rules, they may be disqualified by a unilateral decision of RADIO SKONTO and may not receive the Game prize. In such case, RADIO SKONTO shall not be liable for any consequences arising from the non-award of the Game prize.

10. Before receiving the Main Prize, the Game winner must sign a document releasing RADIO SKONTO from any liability in the event that the Game winner or persons to whom the Game winner has transferred the Main Prize suffer injury or death, or cause any loss to themselves or third parties while using the prize.

11. The Main Prize cannot be exchanged or replaced after it has been received. RADIO SKONTO reserves the right to make changes to the Game Rules, including replacing the Main Prize with a prize of equivalent value, even after the Game Rules have been approved and published on its website.

12. Personal income tax at a rate of 25.5% and the costs of registering ownership of the GIFT in the name of the GIFT RECIPIENT shall be paid by the GIFT DONOR. The recipient of the Main Prize is obliged to ensure that the RADIO SKONTO advertising stickers remain on the Main Prize in the same condition as at the time the Main Prize is handed over. The recipient of the Main Prize must immediately inform RADIO SKONTO if the stickers need to be renewed, and RADIO SKONTO shall ensure that, for the purpose of renewing the stickers, the Main Prize may be made available at the time and place specified by RADIO SKONTO.

13. Information about the Game winners shall be announced on the RADIO SKONTO airwaves, on RADIO SKONTO social media profiles and on the website www.radioskonto.lv.

14. RADIO SKONTO reserves the right to suspend the Game for a certain period or extend the duration of the Game at its own discretion.

15. By participating in the Game, the participant agrees that their name, voice or image may be used in any RADIO SKONTO radio programme, on social media or in advertising materials distributed by RADIO SKONTO that are related to the Game, without any additional financial or other compensation. By accepting the Game Prize, the participant agrees to a royalty-free publicity authorization by signing the relevant documents at the time of receiving the Game Prize.

16. Decisions of RADIO SKONTO management related to the Game are final and cannot be challenged.

17. RADIO SKONTO shall not be responsible for typographical or other errors in printed materials, advertisements or administration related to the Game. The car shown in advertisements may differ from the Main Prize.

18. The manufacturers and sellers of the Main Prize are responsible for the safe use of the Main Prize and warranty obligations in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia.
