RADIO SKONTO Keyword Game “My Favourite Radio is RADIO SKONTO”
1. The organizer of the RADIO SKONTO keyword game “My Favourite Radio is RADIO SKONTO” (hereinafter – the Game) is SIA “RADIO SKONTO LV” (hereinafter – RADIO SKONTO), registration No. 44103054510, address: Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela 100, Rīga, which has developed these rules (hereinafter – the Rules).

2. The Game takes place within the territory of Latvia and in those places around the world where RADIO SKONTO can be listened to via online live streaming.

3. The Game starts on October 6, 2025, and ends on November 1, 2025, when the finalists of the Game will be determined.

4. There may be five winners in total. All winners are determined when RADIO SKONTO hosts make calls to randomly selected phone numbers (hereinafter – the On-Air Game). Out of the five winners, four will receive a cash prize of EUR 400.00 each, and one will receive the Grand Prize – a new car.
 The Grand Prize, determined according to these Rules, is a new Hyundai i20, color Dragon Red Pearl, provided by Skandi Motors. RADIO SKONTO will gift this Grand Prize to the winner. The Game’s prize fund includes only one Grand Prize.
5. Determining the Game Finalists
5.1. The five finalists of the On-Air Game are determined when RADIO SKONTO hosts make calls to randomly selected phone numbers.
5.1.1. From October 6, 2025, to November 1, 2025 (inclusive), RADIO SKONTO hosts will call randomly selected fixed and mobile phone numbers registered in the Republic of Latvia at various times and from different numbers, from the RADIO SKONTO studio.
 Calls that are answered, as well as other made calls when possible, are broadcast on air.
 The selection of phone numbers is carried out using Microsoft Excel and its programming functions — the “RANDOMIZE/RND” random number generation command — to obtain randomly selected phone numbers.
 Each phone number will be called only once during the Game.
 RADIO SKONTO is not responsible for any technical or communication issues (such as telephone line problems) related to the calls described in this section.
5.1.2. The winner of the On-Air Game is the person who complies with these Rules and, when receiving a call from a RADIO SKONTO host (as per clause 5.1.1), clearly and immediately, without hesitation, answers with the exact phrase, in the exact order:
 👉 “Mans mīļākais radio ir RADIO SKONTO!” or “Mans mīļākais radio RADIO SKONTO!”
5.1.3. RADIO SKONTO reserves the right to consider the participant’s response invalid if the phrase is expressed in a way that discredits the RADIO SKONTO brand.
6. Eligibility to Win, Participate in the Final, and Receive Prizes
Any individual may participate in the Game, reach the Final, and win a Cash Prize or the Grand Prize, except for those persons and cases specified in these Rules.
 The participant in the Final and the potential winner is a person (not a phone number). Each person may hold only one finalist position in the Game.
 Any individual legally residing in the Republic of Latvia may win and receive the Grand Prize.

Employees of RADIO SKONTO, broadcasting license holders, employees of SIA “Skandi Motors”, owners and employees of companies associated with the Game, as well as family members of all persons mentioned in this paragraph (spouse, children, parents, siblings, grandparents, and grandchildren) are not allowed to participate or win prizes.

Only one employee (the first one to win according to clause 5.1.2) from a telecommunications company (or any related company/person) that uses numbers with incoming call redirection or reception not assigned to a specific subscriber is allowed to win and receive a prize.
 After that, all such company numbers are excluded from the list of randomly generated numbers.

The prize recipient must confirm that this restriction does not apply to them.
 If this confirmation proves false, any awarded prize must be returned to RADIO SKONTO. The recipient must immediately take all necessary actions to return the prize, including, in the case of the Grand Prize, covering any re-registration costs at their own expense.

7. Agreement to the Rules
Only those who have read and agreed to these Rules, as well as to RADIO SKONTO’s Privacy Policy, personal data processing terms, and general contest, campaign, and game rules available at www.radioskonto.lv, may participate.
 If there is any conflict, these Game Rules shall prevail.

8. The Game Final and Determination of the Grand Prize Winner
The winner(s) must personally arrive in Riga on November 14, 2025, at the address and time specified by RADIO SKONTO, which will be communicated to the winners by November 2, 2025, for the Game Final (hereinafter — the Final).
 The participant must bring a valid personal identification document (passport or ID card).
 Cash Prizes will be awarded at the same time as the Grand Prize winner is determined.

If the winner cannot attend the Final in person, they will automatically receive a Cash Prize but lose the right to participate in the Final.

Photography and filming may take place during the Final.
 By attending, participants agree that their images and likeness may be used in media, social networks, and other marketing communication channels, without any additional financial or other compensation.
 The venue and time of the event are subject to change.

Determination of the Grand Prize Winner
During the Final, the Grand Prize will be determined as follows:
 Each of the five winners of the On-Air Game (in the order they won) will, one by one, draw one car key from a container prepared in advance.
 The number of keys will exactly match the number of winners, and all keys will be identical in appearance — however, only one key will fit and start the car, which is the Game’s Grand Prize.

If the key drawn by a participant starts the car, that person is declared the Grand Prize Winner and receives the Grand Prize.
 If the key does not fit, the participant receives a Cash Prize.
 Once the Grand Prize has been won, the remaining participants each receive Cash Prizes.

In the event that there is only one winner and the Game’s duration is not extended, this single winner automatically receives the Grand Prize.

Prize Issuance
Prizes will be awarded only if the name, surname, and personal identification number indicated in the participant’s ID match the details provided to the RADIO SKONTO host at the moment of winning.

The Grand Prize will be issued after signing a donation agreement, in accordance with the terms and conditions of that agreement.

9. Disqualification
If the Game winner does not comply with these Rules and/or is unable or unwilling to fulfill them, and/or fails to appear at the Final specified in Clause 8, they may be disqualified by a unilateral decision of RADIO SKONTO and forfeit their right to receive the prize.
 In such a case, RADIO SKONTO shall not be liable for any consequences resulting from the prize not being awarded.

10. Liability Waiver
Before receiving the Grand Prize, the winner must sign a document releasing RADIO SKONTO from any liability in the event that the winner, or any person to whom the Grand Prize is transferred, suffers injury, death, or any form of damage to themselves or third parties while using the prize.

11. Non-exchangeability and Rule Changes
The Grand Prize cannot be exchanged or replaced after it has been received.
 RADIO SKONTO reserves the right to amend these Game Rules, including substituting the Grand Prize with an equivalent prize, even after the Rules have been approved and published on the RADIO SKONTO website.

12. Taxes and Prize Markings
The personal income tax (25.5%) and expenses related to registering ownership of the gift in the recipient’s name shall be covered by the Donor (RADIO SKONTO).

The Grand Prize winner must ensure that all RADIO SKONTO promotional stickers on the prize remain intact and visible as at the time of prize handover.
 If the stickers need to be renewed, the winner must immediately inform RADIO SKONTO, which will arrange for the renewal of the stickers at a time and place specified by RADIO SKONTO.

13. Announcement of Winners
Information about the Game winners will be announced on-air on RADIO SKONTO, as well as on RADIO SKONTO’s social media profiles and the official website www.radioskonto.lv.

14. Suspension or Extension of the Game

RADIO SKONTO reserves the right to suspend the Game temporarily or extend the Game period at its sole discretion.

15. Publicity Consent
By participating in the Game, each participant agrees that their name, voice, or image may be used in RADIO SKONTO broadcasts, social media, or promotional materials related to the Game, without additional financial or other compensation.

By accepting the Game prize, the participant provides permission for free publicity by signing the relevant documents at the time of receiving the prize.

16. Final Decisions
All decisions made by RADIO SKONTO management regarding the Game are final and not subject to appeal.

17. Errors and Illustrations
RADIO SKONTO is not responsible for any typographical or other errors in printed materials, advertisements, or administration related to the Game.
 The car depicted in promotional materials may differ from the actual Grand Prize.

18. Prize Safety and Warranty
Responsibility for the safety, operation, and warranty obligations of the Grand Prize lies with the manufacturer and seller of the prize, in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia.
